Rough edit
Due to implications with Youtube, I have had to provide a link in order to watch my A2 media studies rough edit.
In my music video, I still want to add transitions between scenes and try and make the crossovers smoother and give it a more professional look rather than just using the same crossfade between every scene. I have yet to add my colour layers and adjust the settings of the pictures to make them look bolder and help make the image stand out. The after-effects still need to be added and I am still not sure what effects I want to add. I found it hard trying to look for new ideas as since it is a music video I don't want to add anything that will make it look amateur or childish. Some after-effects may take away from the message of the video making it hard to follow and losing the interest of audience members.
- opportunity to play with transitional effects for beginning flashback shots
ReplyDelete- see if you can work on colour grades / after effect to get all that footage
- nice changing between footage from 36secs - 46secs (maybe look for an after effect transition / glitch for these?
- very long shot from 47secs - 1min - do you have other footage to change this up with??
- I like the transposition of the singing Phoebe and the imagery of her standing behind her younger self (could maybe keep that superimposition for a bit longer?)
- is there a shot missing before Levi's character starts singing? it fades to black and then back to graveyard then to black again...
- missing footage at 1.20
- ramping up of shot changes before 2 shot is nice. Some more missing footage
